Collinson Media Broadcasts Live Webinar
Monday, July 16th, 2012
Representatives from leading destination marketing organizations will take part in a panel session that will broadcast live from Seattle on Wednesday, July 18 at 2 p.m. EDT. This is the final day of the Destination Marketing Association International Annual Convention.
To see the panel session, register for the webinar here.
Bobbie Patterson, executive director of the Boise CVB, Dan Williams, vice president of sales for Positively Cleveland, Tammi Runzler, senior vice president of convention sales and services for Visit Orlando, and Christine Shimasaki, managing director of DMAIʼs empowerMINT, will discuss the meetings news and trends covered during the conference, highlight creative ways meeting planners can partner with destination management organizations to enhance their meetings, and forecast the meetings industry in their cities.
A Q&A open to all participants on the webinar will follow the presentation.
A Dialogue about Destination Marketing
“I think the value of this discussion is to open the dialogue between planners and DMOs about the value of a strong partnership between the two no matter what city the planner has selected for a future meeting,” Patterson said. “It is also important that DMOs constantly evaluate the needs of those coming to our cities so that we can deliver service at the highest level of quality in a manner that works well for each individual planner.”
Event professionals who register and attend will receive one clock hour toward CMP Certification in the CMP-IS Domain B. Project Management. For more information and to register, visit collaboratemeetings.com/webinars.
