Social media expert Bruce Newman was plagued by gremlins in his phone line, but he overcame the static to present five ways to run better webinars.
He also highlighted the effectiveness of webinars as a teaching tool, sharing surveys that prove how useful webinars to their audience.
Over the course of an hour, he took his audience step-by-step through the process of creating an effective presentation. He also showed the link between good content and good promotion.
Better Webinars Start and End with Great Promotion
According to Bruce, the five key steps to presenting a better webinar are:
Define your goals and outcomes
Identify and know your audience
Choose an appealing title and subtitle
Create an effective landing page
Promote extensively and send reminders
Promotion is a key step that is part of the beginning and the ending of the process. Figuring out what you want to tell people about your webinar helps you define your goals and focus your presentation on what’s important.
