Event correspondent Andrea Cook showed how live media coverage can have a huge effect on the buzz surrounding an event. She also shared tips for making that happen.

Some of those tips included:

"Don Draper wants his slide projector back."

  • Don’t limit the brand and buzz to logos on a lanyard. Reach beyond the four walls of the conference halls.
  • Track and grow the ROI on your event. You can’t expect your event to grow organically, so include event coverage as part of the strategy.
  • Stop using the A/V tech of 1960s! Use technology that supports social media, proves value, tracks ROI, and spreads event content.
