Engage365 is Back in Business!
Monday, February 13th, 2012
The Engage365 community is officially relaunched!
We’ve been hard at work giving Engage365 a makeover and are so excited to dive back into being a resource for event and association professionals! We want to keep our valued (and growing!) membership informed on what is changing, and what you can expect to stay the same.
What’s New
A brand new look and logo! You may have noticed Engage365’s visual makeover. The community’s ready for its close up, Mr. DeMille.
An expanded community focus: Social media and technology for events are relevant topics to our members, but we want to expand this community’s value to focus more broadly on technology ideas and innovations for the event and association industries.
New features:
- Who Do You Know – Not only can members see their existing LinkedIn and Twitter connections, but the “Who Do You Know” feature will allow them to find Facebook connections too.
- Groups - Members can now create and join Groups, based on tags added to their profile. Find others who share your interests, share documents and dive into targeted conversations with peers.
- Vendor Marketplace - Do you want to show off your company and its social media or technology offerings to event and association professionals? Be a part of the free vendor showcase! This portion of the site is intended to extend Engage365’s resources, creating one space where members can browse vendors and easy connect with their representatives. Sign up today!
- Mobile – Can’t get enough of Engage365 on your desktop or laptop? Take it on the go! All of the great features and functionality you expect from the desktop version of the community can be accessed on any modern mobile device through our mobile web application.
Tried and True
Webinars: Engage365 will continue to provide informative, “thought leader” webinars on a monthly basis (powered by Peach New Media). Interested in contributing content or being a speaker? Let us know!
Twitter Chats: The weekly #engage365 Twitter chats are quick, easy, fun ways to interact with other members in a real-time environment. The weekly chats and their archives are here to stay.
Articles: The news articles posted have contributed exciting, educational content to Engage365 from a variety of industry professionals, and we want to keep that knowledge coming in to members moving forward. We would love to share an article or blog post you’ve written; read through what we’re looking for.
You can leave a response, or trackback from your own site.

Yes!! Welcome Back! I’ve been waiting for some new blog posts for quite some time now
Thanks Justina! We’re happy to be back. Look for another great article this week.
Glad to see things up and running again
I was here a few weeks ago and things seemed pretty quiet, so I”m glad to see this note. BTW, over at http://www.engage365.org/weekly-twitter-chat/ the “tweetchat” link is broken. I wasn’t aware of these before and will try to participate on Friday.
Barry, thanks for pointing that out. We don’t actually have the tweet chat page built into the community right now, so the #engage365 weekly chat can just be followed on Twitter (or something like Seesmic or TweetDeck) every Friday. We hope to see you this Friday when we will be chatting about event webcasting.
